I often think how blessed we are to live in the world filled with so many different colours. 

They are vibrant arts painted by our five senses that have been inspired by our own experiences.

Why were our ancestors capable of discerning thousands of different colours? Why were they able to express and share them as Japanese traditional colours? 

It must be because their sensibilities have been cultivated along with the time, while they lived with the seasons and sensed the growth of plants and animals. 

However, they could never project those elegant colours to us thoroughly. 

Just like my blue could be your green. 

Our personal experiences design our unique sensibilities. Those sensibilities mix our own colours and pass it on to the world. 

That’s not all.

Those colours change depending on who sees it, time, places, angles, emotions, and even yourself.

We want to see your exquisite sensibility that could change the same colour into infinite different ones. 

We want you tell us what colour reflect in your eyes. 

That’s how we embody it and share it.

We want to share time with you to process, practice and progress our sensibilities known as our own colours. 

Vivid world, limitless world, the world that only you can see.

こんなにも色で溢れた世界を生きられる私達はどんなに幸せかとよく思う。

それは私達が経験し、刺激を受けた五感が生み出した美しいアート。

日本人が1000種以上もの色を判別し、伝統色として表現、共有してこられたのはなぜなのだろうか。

それは四季の移ろい中で植物、生物達の変化を敏感に感じ取り、向き合ってきた時間に自然と感性が磨かれ続けたからであろう。

しかしその美しい色彩は私達と完璧に共有出来るものではない。

私にとっての青色はあなたにとっての緑色であるように。

私達に取り込まれた経験全ては誰一人として同じになり得ない感性を生み出す。

その感性は私達自分自身の色を創り、世界に色を配るのだ。

それだけではない。

その色は見る人、時間、場所、角度、心情、そして纏うあなた自身、多くの状況に左右され変化していく。

私達は同じ色を何百通りにも変化させることの出来るあなたの美しい感性を見たい。

そしてあなたにはどんな色が映って見えているのか教えてほしい。

それは共有することであり具現化すること。

色という名の感性に向き合い、磨き、共有する時間をあなたと共に創りたい。

美しい色の世界、限りない色の世界、あなたにしか見ることの出来ない唯一の世界。

こんなにも色に溢れた世界を生きられる私達はどんなに幸せかとよく思う。

そしてあなただけに見えているこの世界はどんなに美しく色付いているのだろうとも。
